Harriton High School – Oct. 2017 – Supply Drive: Post by Club President Katie Rush

In October 2017, the Harriton Students Helping Students used the money we got from the bake sale, as well as other donations and fundraising money, to buy a ton of different school supplies for our partner schools: Overbrook Educational Center, James G. Blaine Elementary School, and the Green Tree School.
In the end, we were able to raise around 150 supply items, to give to the schools. Some of these supplies included: colored pencils, crayons, scissors, index cards, markers, notebook paper, copy paper, folders, notebooks, Expo markers/spray, pencils, construction paper, highlighters, glue, Play Doh, a digital clock, stress balls, and erasers!
With all of the supplies that we got, we are excited to make a real difference! A few of the club members in the next few weeks are going to go and transport all of the supplies, to the schools. Our club is so glad to help out our partner schools, and we’re excited to do way more in the future.
